Prashanna Babu, an Indian dancer and choreographer, arrives in Brussels to make you dance on the sounds of Northern and Southern India!
As part of his Kollywood Workshop Tour in Europe, he is making an exceptional debut in Belgium on 14 May, at the invitation of Tala & Nritya.

Prashanna Babu has worked with the biggest stars of Bollywood and Southern Indian.
He assisted Prabhu Deva for several years and has choreographed more than 300 songs for Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films such as "PK", "Endhiran" or "Chennai Express". He has been now working with many choreographers from South India and performing in numerous films. The latest ones: Kavan and Raees with the incredible Shah Rukh Khan (in blue, next to SRK, at 0'27 ")
The workshop
The workshop of 14 May is divided in two parts :
- one choreography in Bollywood style;
- another one in Kollywood.
Kollywood is in South of India what Bollywood is to the north. It is a Tamil-language cinema produced in Chennai. The music has the rhythmic sounds of the South and the costumes are inspired by its folkloric traditions. The dance is energetic, full of life.

Fee : 40€ (35€ for students (< 26 years) and job seekers).

The workshop is accessible to everyone, but you'll enjoy it more if you already have a small experience in dance.
