Ann has been teaching Bollywood dance for nearly a decade. In her late twenties, she felt the need to bring more movement and lightness back into her life. Drawn to Indian culture, she discovered Sarah’s classes at Tala & Nritya and immediately fell in love with the contagious joy and vibrant energy of Bollywood.
She joined the classes, then the company, performing in private shows, cultural events and television programs. Soon after, she began teaching, driven by the desire to share a dance that is expressive, accessible and full of life.
Ann has been training in Bharatanatyam for several years with Lucia Anjali. She also deepens her knowledge of Indian folk dances — Garba, Dandiya Raas, Kalbeliya, Bhangra — learning directly from Indian artists. Her journey includes instructor training in Kuthu with Vinatha Sreeramkumar, as well as explorations in Oriental dance and contemporary dance to broaden her creative tools.
In 2024, she was part of the group that won the bronze medal in Greece at Europe’s largest Indian dance festival. With her partners, she presented a fusion of Bollywood and classical Indian dance styles choreographed by her mentor Sarah.
Today, Ann teaches with energy and kindness, sharing a modern, blended form of Bollywood rooted in classical and folk traditions. Her classes focus on technique, expressiveness and group dynamics, while exploring new styles and narratives each year. She also enjoys fusion approaches, offering each dancer a space to express, connect, and give meaning to movement.
An invitation to embrace your own dance and explore the richness of Indian cultures.
