Inspired by the sacred rhythms of South India, Nathalie (Bhumika Movement) began her journey into Bharata Natyam in 2007, under the guidance of Eric Rozen and Lucia Anjali ( Bxl). Over the years, her path led her from the temple of Tamil Nadu to the sacred traditions of Odisha. She refined her artistic path by learning with gurus in Madras and Bengaluru.
In 2014, she was introduced to the refined grace of Odissi through Ashwini Raghupathy and Mahina Khanum. Later, she deepened her studies with Sujata Mohapatra.
Since 2020, she continues to deepen her practice under the guidance of Bichitra Behara of the Rudrakshya Foundation.
Rooted in devotion and movement, Nathalie also turned toward Kalaripayattu, the ancient martial art of Kerala. This powerful discipline now nourishes her dance practice, connecting body, breath, and presence in a profound way.
For the past eight years, she has shared her passion as an Odissi teacher at Tala & Nritya school, where dance becomes both offering and transformation.
